5G services launched in India today by The Prime Minister

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today launched 5G services in India

Today is a remarkable day for India as Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has launched the 5G services for telecommunication in the country. The PM flagged off the 5G services at the 6th edition of India Mobile Congress-2022 conclave which is happening between 1st-4th October 2022 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

5G services will be initially launched in phased manned in 13 select cities which includes Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Jamnagar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Pune. Subsequently the 5G mobile services will be expanded to other remaining cities/ areas by end of 2023.

With introduction of 5G, telecommunication consumers in India can enjoy faster internet speed and it will change the digital landscape of the country.
