Reliance Jio, the telecom arm of Reliance Industries Ltd. has announced its Q1 FY22-23 results recently.
- company has declared net profit of Rs. 4,335 crore for the quarter which is 23.8% up from the previous year.
- revenues are up to Rs. 21,873 crore which is 21.5% growth Y-o-Y. Last year same period it stood at Rs. 18,008 crore. The previous quarter Jan-Mar it had reported revenue of Rs. 20,945 crore.
- EBITDA was Rs. 10, 964 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs. 8,617 crore for the same period last FY.
- As per TRAI data, the company net added 31 lakh plus subscribers during Q1 of the current FY taking its subscriber base to nearly 41 crore and continues its number one position in the mobile telecom sector.
