Axis Bank is all planned to revise upward the Average Monthly Balance (AMB) requirement for some of its flagship Savings Accounts. The bank is revising AMB from existing Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 12,000/- for all Metro & Urban city customers. These AMB changes will be applicable to both domestic and NRI customers who are holding their Easy Access Savings Account, Women Savings Account, Senior Privilege Savings Account, Smart Privilege Account, Innam Personal Bank Account, Gold Loan Savings Account, Digital Easy Access Savings Account etc. which are presently at an AMB requirement of Rs. 10,000/- . Even new customers desirous for all such savings account variant will also need to maintain the desired AMB once they opt for such account with Axis Bank.
Bank has also planned to reduce the monthly free cash transaction limits from existing Rs. 2/- Lakh per month to Rs. 1.5 Lakh per month. Changes in the free cash transaction limit will be applicable to the above mentioned savings account along with Easy Access Salary Accounts.
The bank has planned to bring in the above changes with effect from 1st April 2022. Banks has already sent notifications to their customers and has also put these changes in public domain. So all Axis Bank customers will get these new revised tariff from the begging of new Financial Year.
