The financial year 2021-2022 is going to end in Mar-2022. There are a lot of activities which have deadline of 31st March 2022 to be completed at any cost. If you miss these deadlines in March, you may lose tax saving opportunity, pay penalty etc. Know below the activities whose timelines are falling in March-2022.
- Link you PAN & Aadhaar before 31st March 2022. This deadline has been extended many times but may not be extended further. So, do it immediately else you have to pay penalty of Rs. 10,000/- for doing it after the deadline.
- Complete you bank KYC/ re-KYC before 31st March 2022. RBI has extended the timeline many times but may not extend this further. If you miss this deadline, your bank account/ credit card etc. may be blocked.
- Timeline for Advance Tax payment for FY 21-22 is 15th March 2022. Complete it in time or you have to pay fine for doing it after the due date.
- Complete your 80C, 80CCD (1), 80CCD (1B), 80D & 80G investments for tax Saving opportunity for FY21-22 before March-2022 end.
- Revised or late (if missed) ITR filling for FY20-21. The timeline ends on 31st March 2022.
- Deadline for corporates to file Income Tax Returns (ITR) for the fiscal ended March 2021. Do it by the deadline.
